Description

Deionised water is water that has had almost all of its mineral ions removed, such as cations like sodium, calcium, iron, and copper, and anions such as chloride and sulfate.

Deionised water is used in the livestock sector to mix vaccines before application. Other uses for deionised water are topping-up forklift batteries, filling cooling systems and in steam irons.

Deionised water specification:

  • Conductivity: 20 micro siemens max.
  • Appearance: A clear colourless liquid free from particulate contamination.
  • CAS number 7732-18-5 EC number 231-791-2.

Available in 25 litre drums (minimum order of 8) and 1000 litre IBCs.

Delivery Information

This product is marked as hazardous or oversized and has a delivery charge of £50+VAT. Delivery is free on orders over £400 (excl VAT).

Please note that this product is palletised or marked as hazardous. Delivery takes between 2 and 3 days as standard. When delivery takes place, please ensure ample space is available and unloading of the products may also be required (this is due to articulated lorries and the requirement of a forklift to unload the vehicle). Please be aware all goods must be signed for on receipt of the delivery. If you are concerned about the goods you are ordering or possible delivery restrictions, please let us know when the order is placed.

We offer same day despatch on most of our products – this applies to orders made before 2.30pm from Monday to Thursday. Orders placed after 2.30pm on a Friday and across the weekend will be shipped at the earliest time the next working day. As all products are not guaranteed to be in stock, our standard delivery is a 2 – 5 day service (excluding weekends and bank holidays).
